Another point
Strayer makes is that third-wave empires were larger and traded more extensively than previous empires and were also made up of nomadic people, unlike the sedentary people of previous empires. This connects to Key Concept 3.2.II: Continuity and Innovation of State Forms and Their Interactions in that the third-wave empires significantly differed from previous civilizations or empires. For example, the Arab Empire stretched from Spain all the way to India. It was made up of Islamic nomads who traded and interacted considerably with both surrounding and distant civilizations, such as India and China.
Both of these points made by Strayer directly relate to the Key Concepts above and as of now, I think I am on board with his arguments, as they are factually accurate and have logical reasoning backing them up.
