Kirikou
“Mother, deliver me or push me out into the world” is the first line spoken by Kirikou in this animated movie. The mother responded and said, “A child that can talk from his mother’s womb has the ability to come out by himself”. Consequently, the boy was born, and he cuts the umbilical cord by himself. He also named himself “Kirikou”.
Kirikou was born into an African rural setting at a period when there was a terrible sorceress named Karaba. Karaba was vicious. She had a dreadful spell that enables the spring to disappear. In addition, she enjoys manipulating and terrifying the villagers. She was feared. Most of the men that dared to fight her were either kidnapped or disappeared without traces. The villagers assumed that she ate these men.

In Shakespeare's Julius Caesar Marcus Brutus is the most complex character to define, but he is also the tragic hero. Although Brutus was greatly involved in Caesar's murder, it doesn't make him a villain. The audience learns of the motives which drove Brutus to action. He was a powerful leader, a husband, and also a true and trusting friend. He does not kill Caesar because of envy, greed or for the good of himself, but he explains that he killed him "not that I loved Caesar less, but that I loved Rome more". With these words Marc Antony and the public realize he acted for Rome and for its future. In Brutus' mind his actions were the right choice to make. This makes Brutus the tragic hero in the play.…
