My Europe trip
Ever since I was little girl I dreams about traveling overseas. Strange lands, exciting places, and new cultures have always fascinated me. I’ve always wondered what it would be like to speak another language, to grow up earning different customs, or to live in a completely different way than I do now. This past July my dream finally came true. I got to travel to England, France, Switzerland, and Germany. My friends and I finally touch the world with our fingertips.
England’s green hills and city life is unforgettable. Some parts of London are full of historic cathedrals, quaint little cafes, and amazing shopping places. My favorite experience in London was riding the Underground to see the Broadway play Fosse and watching the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace. England overall is not too different from the U.S. The same language is spoken and their currency, the pound, is very similar to an U.S. dollar. However, driving in the left side of the road is hard to get use to. A lot of double-deckers, the metro in London, were too rough and carefulness with the tourist. We have a lot of fun overall with all the cute guys in London.
The Eiffel Tower, The Arc de Triumphed, The Louvre, Notre Dame and lot of other places are all located in the heart of Paris, France. Paris with its French food, romantic places and extraordinary views was like seeing heaven. I’ll never forget the day I was sitting in a French café, eating wear food and looking out people passing by. Paris
Is a very populate place, but it’s the nicest place I been to. French people are not very nice with you. We experience some pickpockets around us. Inside the Louvre, a museum in Paris, the Mona Lisa and the Arc de Noe were some of the famous pieces in the museum. The Eiffel Tower was the most amazing thing I ever been to. It has a restaurant inside the tower, a shopping center and the best Paris view ever. .
There is only one word to describe Switzerland and Germany, and the word it’s beautiful. In the other hand, France was the best place I been, but the resident areas were not in good shape. The whole place was cover with graffiti and living in big crowds. Germany and Switzerland was the contrary to what I expected, both countries were extremely neat. There were not many tourist attractions, but the scenery alone is enough to keep you in shock. The Swiss chocolate and the clocks are famous in Switzerland. In the hotel we stay in, we had dinner and drank while people singed to us and played instrumental things to us. We didn’t spend very much time in Germany. The time spend there was unforgettable. By the way the sausage tastes awful in Germany.
After fabulous days touring several countries it was time to go back to the U.S. I had so many new friends, specially our guide Dimitri, very cute; we saw so many new things and had so much fun. Going to Europe completely changed the way I looked at the world. I now respect different cultures and different people. I never imagined hoe different the world outside my own U.S and Mexico really was. My greatest adventure till now and I hope to see more things that I never seen. It’s a great world and I can wait for my trip to China and Hawaii.
