CHENNAI: A 49-year-old businessman was arrested on Saturday by the bank fraud wing of the city police on charges of cheating a nationalized bank.

V Anbu, who has been running 'Moon Holiday' massage parlours in T Nagar and Uthandi and 'Ayur Plus Therapy Centre' in T Nagar, had requested Axis Bank to install electronic data capturing (EDC) units (used to swipe credit and debits cards) at three of his parours.
He then used cloned credit cards to credit cash into his bank account using these units, police said.
