When working in a retail store, how would you approach a person with a visual impairment? When approaching a person with a visual impairment I would speak clearly and introduce myself. Then I would ask them if it ok for them to take my arm so I can guide them around the store if they do not have a service animal with them. I want that person to feel like they are important and that their opinion matters. How would you demonstrate a product’s features to this person? I would be very descriptive for example if they wanted to buy a dress for their niece. I would ask how old is the child, then I would ask what if there was any style she would like for his/her niece or color. If he/she had no idea I would make a suggestion depending on age. I would suggest a pretty navy blue dress that comes just above the knee with lace ruffles with a silk navy blue trim all around the dress with a matching jacket. That also comes with accessories like barrettes or a scrunchy to go in her hair. Then I would ask if he/she would like to buy some shoes to go with the dress. I believe that make a person feel like they do not have a disability is the best possible to relate with them.…

    Credit Card Fraud

Credit Card Fraud is one of the biggest threats to business establishments today. Originally, credit cards simply carried raised numbers that were transferred to a carbon copy with a card-swiping machine. The merchant simply accepted any card presented. Spending limits and printed lists of lost/stolen cards were ineffective in preventing fraud and other financial losses. Merchants were required to telephone a transaction authorization center to get pre-approval of the transaction. The volume of telephone traffic grew too great, and more automated authorization systems allowed faster, easier, and verified transactions. Magnetic stripes on the backs of these payment cards started to appear and that allowed computers to be used at both ends of the call.…

In this particular type of industry it is impossible to offer some “service offers” that other companies may be able to offer. We can’t offer big sales, buy one get one free and other types of promotions that companies follow. The cost of materials keeps rising and in order to keep competitive we do only sell work at a fair price, not like some other double glazing companies where they price very high so that they can appear to offer the customer a one off special offer with a discount by bringing the price down. We like to remain fair at all times.…
