Michael Jordan was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 17, 1963. Kobe Bryant was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 23, 1978. Michael went to the the University of North Carolina and after his junior year went into the NBA. Kobe went to Lower Merion High School and went to the NBA after graduating high school. Michael was drafted in the 1984 NBA draft in round one and was pick number three. Kobe was drafted in the 1996 NBA draft in round one and was pick number thirteen. This championship was special because Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman were injured due to their backs throughout the whole playoffs. Michael put the team on his back and led them to another title. This is something Bryant never did. A key example of Bryant’s failure was in the 2004 NBA finals when he had four future hall of famers on his team.
