Einleitung

Konflikte treten in jedem sozialen Netzwerk auf. Sie sind alltäglich, unausweichlich und werden in der Regel mit negativen Emotionen assoziiert. Zudem liegt die Problematik oftmals im mangelhaften Umgang mit Konflikten.
In dieser Arbeit wird daher das Konfliktmanagement vorgestellt, welches hilft, Konflikte konstruktiv zu bearbeiten und zu lösen. Aufgrund des breiten Spektrums dieses Themas, werden Konfliktlösungsmethoden innerhalb des betrieblichen Umfeldes fokussiert, juristische und gerichtliche Verfahren werden hierbei ausgeschlossen.

Zunächst befassen wir uns kurz mit den Begriffen Konflikt, Konfliktproblematik, Konfliktmanagement und gehen im Folgenden auf die Konfliktarten und den Konfliktverlauf ein. Dem werden Entstehung und Ursachen von Konflikten vorausgesetzt. Im Anschluss folgt die Vorstellung verschiedener Konfliktmanagementmethoden.
Besondere Beachtung erhält dabei das Verfahren der Mediation. Im letzten Teil werden die Präventionsmaßnahmen sowie die positiven Effekte von Konflikten genannt.

Ziel des Referats ist es, Mitarbeitern und Führungskräften einen Einblick in die Thematik zu ermöglichen, Anregungen zur Konfliktbearbeitung zu geben und Lösungsmethoden aufzuzeigen.

1. Begriffsklärungen Stephanie Berghaus

Im Folgenden werden die Begriffe Konflikt und Konfliktmanagement sowie die negativen Auswirkungen eines mangelhaften Konfliktmanagements aufgeführt und erläutert.

1.1 Konflikt

Konflikte sind alltägliche Ereignisse, die in sozialen Beziehungen vorkommen und im Grunde unvermeidbar sind, wenn unterschiedliche Menschen und somit auch unterschiedliche Ansichten und Interessen aufeinandertreffen.

Auch das berufliche Leben besteht aus Konflikten, welche individuell ausgetragen werden – wortreich, schweigend, strategisch, impulsiv, hinterhältig.

Weil Konflikte vielschichtig sind, kann die Definition dessen, was unter einem Konflikt verstanden wird, sehr differieren. Eine eindeutige, übergreifende
