function without a cup of coffee in the mornings, try a mug full of Kopi Luwak, a specialty Vietnamese coffee, made by collecting coffee berries that are eaten and then defecated by wild civets. With a price tag of $100 to $600 per pound, it certainly beats Folgers.

Executive Chef Frank Tujague is the mastermind behind the world’s most expensive bagel. This bad boy, filled with white truffle cream cheese, goji berry-infused Riesling jelly and gold leaf, was once sold for $1,000. Don’t worry! Part of the proceeds were donated to the Les Amis d’Escoffier Scholarship, which benefits culinary students.

With a name like Pizza Royale, this untraditional pie must be delicious. It was created by chef Domenico Crolla and sold for $4,200. It boasts some of the most extravagant (and pricy) ingredients on the globe, including champagne soaked caviar, cognac marinated lobster, and Scottish smoked salmon to name just a few. Oh, we forgot to mention that it’s topped with edible 24-carat gold flakes.
5. The Velvet Goldmine, United States

The most expensive milkshake is the brainchild of Adrianna Biggs, the mixologist at Powder Room, located in Hollywood.
At $500.00, the recipe consists of Belgian chocolate, edible gold leaf, and liquor, topped off with a $190 Swarovski ring.

If you’re like me and love seafood, head over to Manila to try Chef Angelito Araneta Jr.’s sushi creation. For about $1,978.15, you will receive five pieces of sushi wrapped in gold leaf, topped with caviar, three Mikimoto pearls and a diamond!

For dessert, this $25,000 ice cream sundae, offered at Serendipity 3, contains a blend of 28 different cocoas and is decorated with edible gold. But if that’s not enough, it’s also served in a goblet lined with more gold, along with an 18 carat gold bracelet and 1 carat of diamonds lining the bottom. Of course, to eat this creation, you need to use a golden spoon decorated in diamonds.
TOTAL DINNER BILL:
$36,978.15
Considering you opt for only one mango and the cheapest of the Kopi Luwak coffee, your bill is just short of $37,000. Ehh..it could be worse.
