Strategic Plan Part I
Kudler Fine Foods is a local upscale specialty food store located in San Diego metropolitan region. This company is operating in three different locations for the last seven years at La Jolla, Del Mar, and Encinitas areas. Each store has 16,000 square feet of retail space in shopping mall buildings. The stores are full with the best imported groceries, domestic groceries, different departments, and effective management in areas such as bakery, pastries, produce, meat, seafood, condiments, packaged foods, cheese, and dairy products. The company is doing well with the effective business management strategies, but currently the company wants to improve more with the advance restructuring of its business vision, mission, and values.
The organizational mission statement are critical because this defines the company’s philosophy and true identity in establishing a brand image with prospective clients and current customers will perceive as trustworthy. Kudler Fine Foods will redefine a new mission statement to emphasize and reflect the organizational values and morals. According to Pearce and Robinson, “The purpose of a mission statement is essentially to explain the underlying rationale for a company’s existence and regarding what a company’s function is in relation to how the company places itself within society (Pearce & Robinson, 2009). Kudler Fine Foods mission statement is committing to providing customers with the finest selection of the very best foods and wines so his or hers culinary vision can come true (University of Phoenix, 2009).
This mission statement was rock-solid when Kudler Fine Foods was a new start-up business with one small location. As the company has expanded, it is clear the organizational mission for management and employees has to change to implement an entire new mission statement. The company needs to refine the conscious effort

It captures, in a few succinct sentences, the essence of a business 's goals and the philosophies as well as underlying them. Equally important, the mission statement signals what your business is all about to your customers, employees, suppliers and the community (Goodman, 2011). The Five Guys mission statement is very simple, aligned with the philosophy that you don’t just sell hamburgers and French fries in the restaurant industry that is jam packed with fast food chains and think you going to be successful. You sell hamburgers and French fries better than your competitors, you don’t cut corners and customer services are the most important thing. Simply stated, the Five Guys Burgers and Fries mission statement is: "We are in the business of selling burgers." (Farfan) Their goal is also as followed: "Five Guys goal is to sell the best quality burgers possible. To sell the best burger possible, we focus on Quality, Service, and Cleanliness."…

A manufacturer that makes nuts and bolts might set its target market as retail hardware stores, machine manufacturers, or both. The business must determine what region it serves best and relay that information by way of the mission statement. A garage, for example, might limit its target region to the community while a magazine company might target an entire country. Mission statements typically include a statement of company values. Values such as customer service, efficiency and eco-consciousness often appear on lists of company values. At their best, company values should express principles the company explicitly tries to affirm in day-to-day operations.…
