The human rights act allows individuals with learning disabilities the right to equal chances when it comes to jobs this will promote inclusion and will also make the individual feel like they’re included and valued as a member of the community, the human rights act also allows individuals the right to live independently.

The types of services provided for people with learning disabilities one of them is respite this is a service that allows parents/carers a break by taking over the care of the individual.
The local council provides activities for individuals this gives them social inclusion, such as Blackpool provides boys and girls clubs and also adult placement this provides the chance for an ap carer to support an individual at their family home for either short breaks or as long term accommodation
Institutions they took over constant care of individuals, however this was not ideal because it segregated people with learning difficulties
