Laila's Short Story
Once upon a time, in the place of Nevada, there was a girl named Laila. She had lost her home due to a flood. She had no clue where to live now, but then she realized, she needed to build a house. She wandered to find a good place for her new house to be built. She wandered and wandered, but could not find a good place.
It was evening and she finally found a nice place to build her new house. She tried to find sticks and straws to build her new house out of. She stayed up all night to build her new house. After it was built, she went out to find some food. She brought back berries and bread she found. While she was eating, Jake, her friend came to visit her.
When he entered, he asked “What happened to your old house?”

Once it was evening again, Jake and Laila both ate dinner and then Jake left. After he left, Laila went to bed early. The next day, Laila went outside to take a walk. When she came back, she screamed “AHHHHHH!” Her house is run over by a flood again! Laila was upset. She said to herself, “How am I going to find another place for my home?” All night, Laila was up roaming around trying to find a new place for her home. She roamed and roamed but could not find a place. The next morning, she had found another nice spot to build her new house. She stayed up all night again finding sticks and straws to build her house out of. Once she built it again, she peacefully had leftovers from yesterday and went to bed. Jake doesn’t know Laila is getting suspicious, but he wants to ruin her house because he hates Laila. When Laila was a child, Jake and Laila used to be best friends. One day, they got in this big argument and both of their parents agreed that Laila was correct. Till this day now, that made Jake very angry and he wants to obtain as much as revenge as possible from Laila. Laila doesn’t know that Jake still remembers that and wants to gain his revenge. His revenge is ruining Laila’s house by creating a fake flood around her house. Jake’s getting frustrated because Lalia keeps building a new house. Jake is now going to Laila’s house again to create the flood.
Laila sees Jake coming toward the house, she sent him to. She sees him carrying buckets of water and dumping them in the direction of the house. Laila is astonished. She cannot believe Jake has been the one creating the floods to ruin her homes. That night, Laila stayed up to figure out why Jake has been doing this. Was it because she did something? Was is to acquire revenge for something? She just couldn’t figure it out. The next day Jake called Laila again.
“I heard your house fell down due to a flood again”
Laila said, “No, it didn’t”
Jake said, “But the address you gave me, there is no house there now”
Laila said, “How do you know?”
Jake said, “Because I went there yesterday”
Laila said, “How comes you didn’t come visit
