What challenges did the developers of the land in yuma county have to overcome? The Yuma county developers were all the people that discovered yuma in 1881. They wanted to make yuma bigger so they put farmland and make yuma expand. They made yuma bye the colorado river so they have resources from the water and have form farmland by the water so they can water the farmland and make it bigger.
