Laurie Is A Trickster Analysis
At the end of the story you learn that Laurie is a trickster and leads his parents to believe that a boy named Charles is doing all of these horrible things and getting in trouble, but really Laurie is doing all of these things and making his parents think it is someone else. For example it states in the passage that the teachers friend tried to make Charles do exercises but he didn’t want to so he kicked the teachers friend and yes this is true but it wasn’t Charles that did this it was Laurie. It also states that Charles threw chalk so he got assigned blackboard cleaning,once again this did happen but it was Laurie not Charles,so Laurie is telling his parents all the horrible things that are happening but he is not mentioning that it is him
