Laurie's Behavioral Issues In Charles By Shirley Jackson

Laurie's parents did not expect Laurie's school year to occur as it did. Shirley Jackson wrote a realistic fiction short story based on real events, titled “Charles.” In the story, Laurie's behavioral issues occurred as a result of Laurie craving the attention that was lost when he received a sibling.
