Abstract In this paper, I will illustrate the impact of employment law on the business decisions, and how the employment law prevents the business owners and managers to make decisions inside the organization regarding the hiring, payment, promotion, and layoff based on the race, sex, religion, and age. I’ll discuss the impact of the government policies on the location decisions of businesses, and how the minimum wages effect on business location. I’ll illuminate the antitrust law and how impact the competition between firms.

Law And Business Decisions The law affects business decisions in many aspects, the employment law and the prohibited practices by the business owners and managers keep the workforce, fair and productive, the employment law prevents the business owners and managers to make decisions based on the individual characteristics such as race, sex, age, and religion (EEOC). The minimum wages played as a strong element in business location decision, by making a comparison between the states that have best business growth and states that have lowest business growth will see the minimum wages in states with high business growth is lower than other states. The antitrust law impact on business decisions, especially in the pricing, if the company charges less or more or the same price, would be accused of monopoly (Younkins, 2000).
Employment Law and Business Decisions
The employment law prohibits many practices by business owners and mangers decisions based on race, color, sex, religion, age, to keep the workforce, fair and productive, the employment law also protects the employee who filed a charge of discrimination, or participated in an employment discrimination investigation from retaliation (EEOC). The employment law secures workers from the business owners
