Leader Influence Subordinate-Centered Communication
The most important concept of the Leader Influence Subordinate Behavior module is the Subordinate-Centered Communication. This counseling approach is centered on the subordinate where the supervisor asks many different questions to help the subordinate come up with an informed choice to solve the problem. Reading the Interpersonal Communications made me realized that I need to improve upon my ability to enhance my questioning and responding skills in order to better counseling my subordinates more effectively.
The Subordinate-Centered Communications approach would be the most valuable concept for me. It would enable me to help my subordinate come up with and make better and more informed decisions, encourage him or her to become a more mature

    Leadership influence on subordinate behavior is very important. In module 7 we identified that connection power is one of the positional powers. I feel like connection power is the most important from this lesson overall. By having connections in the military, you can help not only yourself and your subordinate, but also your leadership and squadron as well.
