Introduction
Part I of this assignment aims to explain 3 Indian leaders leadership practices. The leaders are taken from business world(Sir Jamsetji Tata), spiritual world (Swami Vivekananda) and politics(Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose) .These leaders leadership practices and styles are discussed using leadership theories. Part II of this assignment is about the leadership skills self-assessment questionnaire taken in http://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newLDR_50.htm ,leadership skills score and assessment of the self-test result.
Part-I
Sir Jamsetji Tata Maverick Indian Industrialist, Sir Jamsetji Tata was the founder of the India’s most recognized brand in global scenario “Tata Group”. He was born in a gujarati family in 1839 in Gujarat. He started his working life in his father’s trading company. But this ambitious and visionary young had some specific dreams in his mind. He realized that freedom without economic independence was an illusion. He was very much moved by one of the ideology of famous thinker Thomas Carlyle that emphasized on the necessity of steel industry for a country’s progress.
