Leading with Vision
Having vision and goal setting are very important key factors in leadership. An organization cannot be successful with a vision for its future. Clark (2004) states, “Good organizations convey a strong vision of where they will be in the future. As a leader, you have to get your people to trust you and be sold on your vision” (p.1.). It is very imperative for every leader to achieve trust from their team. Employees, who respect and trust leadership, are opt to do more and anxious to share their talent toward achieving the goal. They are even more fervent with assisting their organization to accomplish its goals and vision. It is the leader responsibility to make sure the goals are practical and achievable. The vision should be created to benefit the organization in all aspects of accomplishing its vision.
