League of Legends is an exhilarating game that allows the players to connect with one objective, victory. The game seems simple or mediocre, but on the contrary it helps with brain development. It strengthens the reaction time and improves the accuracy of the players. It …show more content…
also teaches morals to life, such as the Principle of Charity. I was introduced to the Principle of Charity through League of Legends, it taught me to be rational with my decisions, believing that others have a reason for what they are doing or going to do and therefore I should consider strongest possible interpretations for each situations. For example, during the game, I should not chase an enemy who is running into the fog with possibility that their jungle might be hiding in the bushes, waiting to ambush me. Depending on who I am playing as, I will have different characteristics or different roles.
I enjoy playing the role of support, because I am the backbone of the team. The champion whom I play the most as support is Blitzcrack. Blitzcrack’s role in League of Legends is to protect and aid his fellow teammates for them to push and take the enemy base. Blitzcrack can harass the opposing team and build strengths for his team to take the win. I felt a connection between Blitzcrack and myself because I enjoy helping my friends and becoming their backbone whenever they are in need of help. Blitzcrack’s ability to protect the main carrier and his ability to build throughout the game makes him strong and unstoppable. Blitzcrack grows stronger as he levels up on the battlefield and I see myself grow as I learn in life. I believe Blitzcrack and I both have similar purposes in our existence and that is to aid others when they are in need of aid to our best abilities. Therefore, I love to play Blitzcrack as my champion on League of
Legends.
I see the world differently after having played League of Legends. League of Legends taught me that every player has their own reason to do what they do on the battlefield and I related this to real life. The principle of charity showed that there is a reason for everything. Reason made me a more rational person outside of the gaming world. I became more understanding as a person, believing that he or she had to do what they must and because of that, I forgave people more easily. Understanding to forgive helped me break down a few walls that I have built from bullying and helped me become more social. I have gained many dear friends by letting go of the past and becoming more rational and for that, I love to play League of Legends.
