Leanne Pearce: A Visual Analysis

Leanne Pearce has been doing portraits artwork since the early two thousand’s. She completed her degree in Fine Arts at North Umbria University. She started a breastfeeding mom portfolio with a lot of responds from mothers who breast feed saying they would love to be captured in the moment. The painting I found most interesting in my opinion done Leanne Pearce do the Alex. This painting has no specific location. This painting was chosen because as a mother I understand the bond of breastfeeding.
The Alex is a very beautiful portrait of a mother bonding with her son. Feeding is the most important time when your child is an infant. The mother has on black glasses. The mother has her brown hair tied back. The bay has brown curly hair. The baby has on no clothes just a diaper. The mother has pulled her white muscle shirt down. She has her breast out to nourish her baby. The baby has latched on to her breast and started to drink natural milk from his mother. The mother is smiling at her infant while she continues to feed him. The baby’s finger is wondering around being around the mother’s mouth.
The baby is looking at his mother as he drinks his milk. The background is black and just focuses on the mother and the baby. The mom can smell her sweet little baby’s finger as he tangles it around her mouth. The baby can smell the mother’s breast and natural milk as he’s getting feed. The baby tastes the mother’s natural milk as he gulps it down. The mom is listening to the baby as he is gulping natural milk from her breast.
