The first learning experience I will discuss is something that I find I use every day. One day I sat in class discouraged about numerous assignments, projects, and tests that were due soon. I found myself overwhelmed and frustrated at the thought of getting all this done. It was then that teacher at my previous school said “No one ever became successful by doing nothing, get up and go be successful.” It was there, at that very moment that I realised no matter how stressful life may become to be successful I have to carry on. From that day on I found myself doing more. I put more time and effort into everything I did.
My second learning experience was my first broken heart. This broken heart in no way has hindered me from loving again, but I learned a lot from this painful ordeal. What does not kill you will make you stronger. For one I learned not to give everything to an underserving person. I learned to be more cautious about who I trust. Not to be naïve to believe everything a handsome face says to you. I always try to see the good in everyone and through this experience I learned that just because you see the good in a person doesn’t mean they are good for you. It is through a broken heart I learned not to settle. This experience has helped me to grow not only into a better woman but a better person.
Lastly, my third experience is single handily my most significant experience. Being the eldest of two sisters is so special to me. Playing such an important part in developing a human being has taught me responsibility. From there births I was always told that you are the oldest be a role model. At first I hated it. I could not understand why I was in trouble for things that they did. Now I
