Geneva does not like her husband she feels she has to be with other men while cheating on her husband to fill the emptiness of her broken marriage.
2nd body paragraph-
Topic sentence- why is Geneva so unhappy? Could it be her life or maybe it's her marriage. This life that Geneva lives in is a bad experience to her because of her marriage, but, she feels that if she spends time with other men the problems will subside with no worries at all.

1st commentary. Geneva is not happy with her marriage at all, her husband is not around and she feels that what they once had has vanished. Her life is caving in around and she sees that saranell is no longer cared for as a child should be cared for. 2nd commentary. from Geneva’s perspective, she doesn't see saranell as her own flesh and blood, to Geneva, saranell is just another child that is greedy and annoying. It would appear as if a total nightmare to anyone else in their sane mind; but through the nightmare of mess there's a beautiful child named saranell, she's anything but stupid and she has keen sense of intellect along with much prosperity for her future life.
2nd commentary someday, someday, this is the thought that saranell has when her mother decides to neglect her existence or acknowledge her. The thought that is repeated over and over in saranells mind is, is it better for mother to just go and not be around any longer? Why is this life so hard and is there hope for waiting for just the little years that this life has been living? Life can be difficult, it would be a lie if you heard anything other than this. But, through all the pain and all the misery and forceful pending trials there's still hope, nothing will last forever, nor will pain last forever.
