On March 10th 2017, Lavar Ball, father of Lamelo, Liangelo and Lonzo, made a comment on In the Zone with Chris Boussard that intrigued and shocked the sports world. Lavar Ball compared Lebron James’ sons to all of the other children of famous basketball stars; irrelevant, and stuck in their father’s glory. Regardless of their ages, Lavar felt it was necessary to bring Lebron James’ eleven and thirteen-year-old sons into the equation.
