Wikipedia defines domain tasting as the practice of a domain name registrant using the five-day "grace period" (the Add Grace Period or AGP) at the beginning of the registration of an ICANN-regulated second-level domain to test the marketability of the domain. During this period, a cost-benefit analysis is conducted by the registrant on the viability of deriving income from advertisements placed on the domain's website. Furthermore, users that registered the web site would monitor the sites traffic, click-through activity, and keep the web sites that were popular. People were also returning sites under the grace period which was known as “Add Grace Period” (AGP) that were even popular and just reregistering to avoid paying the cost of registering a domain(ICANN, 2009).…

Banner ads are small rectangular advertisements that when clicked upon will take you to the advertiser’s Web site. They vary in appearances and generally advertisers will try to be creative. Banner ads allow business to not only inform the viewer, but also to create interest. Oxfam decided against using banner ads in their advertising campaign for their relief work in Sedan for Ugandan refugees. They relied solely on email advertising; which ended up generating high revenue. Although this method was effective, I think they also could have done banner ads as well. Oxfam could have had showed pictures of the refugees as long with an enticing message to gather awareness for their cause. Although this might not generate as much revenue as the email advertising, it is good to be able to create awareness.…

Seeing as we take part in many different forms of contracts on a daily basis, they are a big part of our lives; whether it is clicking the “I Accept” button on some software we just downloaded, or signing a 10+ page lease agreement. We make many promises and commitments and it is important to know about the promises we are making on a daily basis. Last year I moved into my first apartment. I had never lived anywhere but with my parents and I was moving in with a friend of mine. We took our time choosing the right apartment and trying to find a good deal, an ideal nice apartment, but not too expensive. My question is: how many people take the time to read every page and every word of a contract before they sign it? I tried, but after you sign/read five pages, you just want to be done, and that is what leads to problems.…

The process of dying can be slow, painful, and undignified when you have an untreatable disease. The ethical dilemma of legalizing physician assisted suicide has been fought over for many years. Physician assisted suicide, which is different from euthanasia, is when terminally ill patients commit suicide facilitated by means of a lethal dosage of prescribed drugs which have been provided by a physician who has talked to the patient and is aware of how them plan to use them. (Merriam-Webster, 2011) In this paper, arguments in favour of physician assisted suicide are explored, as well, some arguments against are addressed and refuted. The points which are analyzed are as follows; since the criminal code stipulates that it is a criminal offence to assist someone in committing suicide, a patient who is terminal and does not possess the ability to take their own life, this code then deprives these people of their section 7 Charter rights which states that everyone has the right to life and the right to take it away. Secondly, when patients cannot confide in their physicians, it is much more likely for their family to need to aid in their suicide. This then puts their family in grave risk of jail. Lastly, it has been quoted that many physicians already secretly assist some terminal patients in committing suicide. Physician assisted suicide should be legalized in every country.…
