If people want drugs they will get them, legal or not. What is the point in spending billions upon billions of dollars if people are still going to use it? Either way, people are presented with a choice. Just because it’s harmful and illegal does not mean people will decide against it. To others who say it helps them, if it can be clinically proven to give some forms of relief, then the FDA should seek measures to legalizing a more natural solution. Being that it is a drug that can be compared to other legalized substances; the government can assure the public with regulations that can result in less drug arrests. The way to decide the legalization of marijuana is to come to the conclusion: is there really sense in pouring money into something that literally just keeps
