Please explain. Most people who don’t support this movement argue that legalizing marijuana will lead to more drug crimes. Individuals make the assumption that marijuana is addictive drug that lead to the embracing of other narcotics. Another argument made is drug dealer/ or merchants could possibly sale to minors. The fear of sending a message to youth that drugs are acceptable typically directs people away from legalizing marijuana for medical purposes. Other will argue it’s the government duty to look out for the general welfare of the public; so because medical marijuana doesn’t affect those taken the drug it can have a negative impact to others.
