She’s clever, hilarious, generous, kind, loving, intelligent, and has a strong moral compass. When I look at her, I see hope. Ultimately I see hope for me. While I often contemplate with envy the image of perfection I see in her, I have come to realize that her success story could be mine as well. She gives me an ideal to strive for. Unlike some role models, she is real, I know her well, and we have a shared history. I see her human flaws along with her perfection. In this way her level of success is not some unattainable ideal, but something that I know I have the ability to reach. Her success motivates me to work through my own issues in a way that other people’s success cannot.…

Mrs. Rubena Rose-Anderson was born in Palmers Cross, Clarendon, Jamaica to a poverty-stricken family. Because she was one of 11 children, my grandmother was forced to grow up at an early age. At the age of 16, her father became ill with cancer and her mother passed away a year later. She then was seen as the mother figure of her younger siblings. After she married my grandfather, Silburn Anderson, in 1967 they then had 3 children. In 1979, she made an incredible decision by leaving her three children and husband behind in order to receive better opportunities here in America. Once she had a steady job and enough money, she was reunited with her husband and children in 1981. I admire my grandmother greatly and she has influenced me making me a very determined person.…
Mother Teresa(1910-September 5, 1997 ), the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979, also known as the humanitarian nun of Calcutta. She was a capable woman who inspired the world and encouraged people with her altruistic acts of love and dedication. She was simply born with leadership and compassion. She dedicated the majority of her life to helping poor people and serving God, thus obtaining the name "Saint of the Gutters." Mother Teresa was born on August 27, 1910 in Skopje, Macedonia. Her original name was Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu. She was born in a loving family with one brother and one sister, but she seldom talk about her early years, because she thinks that the most important thing is to follow God's way, the way he leads us to do something beautiful for him. When she was twelve, she decided that she wanted to be a missionary and spread the love of Christ. At the age of eighteen, she decided to become a nun, she left her parents and joined the Loreto Sister Of Dublin, an Irish community of nuns with missions in India. When Mother Teresa says,“I'm a little pencil in the hand of a writing God, who is sending a love letter to the world”, this shows that god was the motivation of Mother Teresa. She was a woman who absolutely in love with Jesus. She truely believe that God takes her to the right place and do the right things. Her dedication to serving the poorest of the poor, was the response to a call of Jesus. She followed Jesus and sharing love and visions with the whole world.
