The Tragic Rise and Fall of Two Incredible Men
Thesis: John Lennon and Julius Caesar worked their entire lives to change the world. Cassius and Mark Chapman are remembered for taking the lives of prominent historical figures as opposed to working hard until they deserved the attention like Lennon and Caesar did. They do not get recognition for what they have accomplished but mostly for what happened to them. They deserve honor for the things that they have done john Lennon changed music forever and Caesar changed the military with his skillful tactics and excellent leadership. Wanted the poor to be more involved to he made new laws for more people to be involved in everyday decisions. b. Although Caesar was in the upper class patricians most of his votes were from the lower plebian class c. Wanted a dictatorship instead of a democracy or triumvirate. C. Mark David Chapman 1. Believes in God and The devil 2. Thought he had the right to decide whether or not John Lennon deserved his success a. He was jealous that john was so wealthy and successful b. He was angry John took his success for granted c. Also angry John did not believe in god and was open about it. 3. Chapman suffered from depression a lot of his life a. Formed in Liverpool John’s home town 3. “Beatlemania” a. A wave of fame where everyone was a fan of The Beatles b. Many different music styles including pop, classical elements, and psychedelic rock 4. First single “Love me
