Department Goals:

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology aims to develop students in their personal and professional growth to ensure that they exceed the expectations of the computer industry upon graduation and have enhanced their values as they grow in appreciation for the vital role they play in promoting excellent service in the industry.

Course Description:

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude in food and beverage services in accordance with industry standards. It provides students overview and actual demonstrations of the realities in providing link between kitchen and service areas, providing room service, providing food and beverage service, developing and updating of food and beverage knowledge provided in hotel, restaurants, bars and other related service establishments.

General Objectives:

At the end of the course, the student is expected to:

Cognitive:
Develop correct technique and knowledge at the computer including safety methods. It will bring benefits by developing a mastery of computer technology.

Affective:
Demonstrate keyboarding speed and accuracy on straight copy material.
Proofread and correct errors.
Apply ethical policies to the use of technology.

Psychomotor:
Utilize various search engines to gain information, screen sources for validity, and cite sources.
Use and understand the primary features of the presentation software.
