Topic – it is the broad, general theme or message. It is the subject of the paragraph.
Main idea – is the “key concept” being expressed.
Supporting Details – major and minor details, support the main idea by telling how, what, where, what, when, why, how much, or how many. E. Values/Skills
Applications of the concepts help the student develop and enhance their reading comprehension skills.
