MR SMITH
St George’s University of Brighton
I am writing in response to your advertisement in the November 9th Science Projects. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow and lecturer in experimental physics and environmental science at the London Institute of Technology. I am excited about the opportunity to apply for this vacant in that scientist research.
With seven years experience in environmental science and experimental physics, I possess advanced practical and technical knowledge coupled with a passion for scientist research. I have solid experience working with this kind of projects, in 2011 I went to a three-month scientific expedition to the North Pole, the aim of the project was a study of the North Pole deglaciation and the warming world, so I could deal with the extreme conditions easily. I believe that my research, teaching background and last year experience make me a strong candidate.
What I like most about my current job is that it gives me the opportunity to learn, and it looks like this position would do the same. I feel that I could be a valuable asset to your team, and I bring to the table all of the skills that you require.
I would genuinely welcome the opportunity of an offer to work for this project. I have recently moved to Brighton and am available for an immediate start. Please find my CV attached and do not hesitate to contact me on 677839267 for any further information and/or to arrange a personal meeting.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Mike Sheperd
