Dear sir/Madam,
I wish to air my complaints regarding the 'service' I received at your restaurant, The Cross Keys; I was unhappy with the staff’s attitude and also the quality of food.
Firstly, the staff portrayed a large amount of incompetence and an overall terrible attitude towards customers, not just I. No one attended to me for about 25 minutes, and when the waiter finally arrived, he showed a severe lack of interest. He had to take my order three times, but even after all that, he still brought me the wrong food!
Secondly, the service was very slow. After the 25 minute wait, and the god-awful time it took for the waiter to take my order, it was nearly an hour until my food arrived. What made matters worse was that after waiting for so long, the waiter brought the wrong food, and he had to take it back, but refused, accusing me of forgetting what I had ordered. And because everything about my evening trip was awful, I naturally, like everyone else, refused to pay, and the waiter, along with another waitress, had accused me of 'theft' for not paying for food I had hardly touched.
Last, but certainly not least, the food itself was of an appalling quality. It was quite cold and extremely tasteless. After I had arrived home, I was immediately sick, and seeked my Doctors advice, as I am not normally sick. He told me I had food poisoning, and it was from under cooked meat.
All these things considered I feel I need to be compensated. In addition, I demand that you improve the quality of service at the Cross Keys, or shut it down as the service being offered is hazardous to the health of your customers.
If you do not do either of these, I will report it to the Authorities, myself.
Please contact me via address above, I would love to hear from you as soon as possible.

Yours Faithfully,
Angry Customer

If a restaurant wants to be the best, then they have to meet some criteria in order to do so. The first defying factor, is whether the atmosphere the restaurant has, is an enjoyable one. Of course the most important factor, that determines how good a restaurant is, has to do with how good the food is. If food quality is poor, then that can really put a bad image on that restaurant. The atmosphere at Applebee's was very pleasant and our waiter was friendly and accommodating. We counted seven courtesies (please, thank you, your welcome, may I help you, etc.) that he said to us. Unfortunately, we did overhear another waiter making unprofessional complains about their customer. Our waiter also told us that he had been in the service industry for nine years and had been working at Applebee’s for two years. He had the most…

Complaining that he couldn’t read because of the dim lighting (though I would’ve complained about the small seating area that was barely substantial enough to fit all of our meals with our large drinks), food being too expensive, and the bread did not tasting that good, our highly customer praised avocado egg roll appetizer was mediocre and only tasted good when dipped in the “green sauce” as he puts it. I ate the most of the appetizer, and I couldn’t necessarily agree with him about sauce as it made sweeter. He also split a dish between him and my older sister which although had flavor was not that good, I couldn’t give an opinion myself only because I was busy munching away at my dish. The Crispy Chicken Costoletta did not meet the expectations between the two of…

We weren’t even greeted properly, we had ask to sit in the bar area, and the hostess told us to go ahead and didn’t even take us there just pointed to where it was. I felt she was snotty and was put out by having to deal with customers. Her attitude was horrible. (pg38) My boyfriend and I are sports fans, that’s why we decided to sit in the bar area so we could watch ESPN. There weren’t that many tables in the bar about 6 total, two had dirty dishes on them and two needed washed, one was occupied so we took the only available and clean table. I didn’t understand it really, they weren’t real busy, and everyone seemed to be doing nothing for towards what customers want.(pg38) The one other table that was occupied was people who were also disturbed by the lack of professionalism that was being displayed. One guy even commented on it, I in return said “If I was the boss a lot of people would be losing their jobs tonight”. Their service delivery systems seemed to be failing tonight. (pg38)…

The GM was solely concerned about the orders getting out in less than 5 minutes but did not consider the managers to be the problem no, it must have been those “punk” teenagers who work there. The managers were also getting more annoying. They would give us the most tedious and boring jobs and then yell at us if we did not do them fast enough. On this particular day, I had been yelled at a couple of times. They made me do the crappy jobs again. I got off late again. That night something inside of me snapped. I looked in the mirror, and I didn't like what I saw. I remember saying to myself, look at what you have done to yourself; you've aged ten years in the nine months you've worked there. In the coming weeks I put in my notice and deuced out (left). I have lived the rest of my days in peace knowing that I would never have to go back to that succubus of a restaurant, and understanding how bad those workers really have…

Surprisingly, I have been to a restaurant where I had a bad experience. It happened when I was ten years old and my parents took me to a restaurant called Nagoya in Perrysburg. We all wanted to try something new, so my parents thought it would be a good idea to try squid. The server brought it out and it looked very fancy and not like squid at all in my opinion. Me, not knowing it was squid yet, grabbed a handful and shoved it in my mouth. The texture was very slimy and truthfully, I thought I could feel its arms moving around like it was still alive.…

Earlier this evening, I took my family of two sons out for dinner, and we were contemplating whether or not to go do Papa John’s or Domino's for pizza. We ultimately decided to go to Papa John’s due to previous visits being satisfying, but this time, we did not feel the same about the pizza and the employees. We waited for an hour for our pizza to come, the waiter was extremely rude and ignorant, and the pizza did not taste nor look like pizza. My family and I deserve a full refund and an apology for what had occurred at your restaurant today.…
