Dear Sir,
I am writing on behalf of my client, who recently visited your practice and was extremely distressed and uncomfortable throughout her appointment.

I would like to say that my service user has been using your practice for over ten years and our company have a very strong trusting relationship with your team. We expected your staff and service to be polite, welcoming and a comfortable experience throughout.
Firstly when we entered your practice we were not seated and we were left standing for twenty minutes, this made my service user very uncomfortable as she has severe arthritis in her knees. It was clear to us that there were far too many clients in the waiting room and not enough staff. Secondly when we were asked to go through to the appointment room I was spoken to in a friendly manner, however my service user was ignored by your receptionist despite my service user attempting to make conversation. I found this to be rude and very upsetting. The treatment was rushed by your apprentice and my service user was yet again ignored and smirked at. Half way through the treatment my service user began to complain of being very uncomfortable, due to the chair being tilted to far back. Your staff member ignored this complaint, and it wasn’t until I addressed this myself that it was rectified. My service user had to be reassured on several occasions as she became very distressed, uncomfortable and embarrassed throughout the treatment.

After the treatment we visited the receptionist once again, we were seen immediately which we were both thankful for and this time my service user was able to sit comfortably on a chair.

However as you can see I am very unsatisfied and unpleased with your service and level of customer care, my service user is unable to write this letter herself but I can assure you she feels

Scenario 1: I had a new client come in, we followed the same rules and procedures as usual. She filled out the medical intake form, which I reviewed once it was given to me. The medical intake form, had listed some potential contraindications. Such as diabetes and high blood pressure. I went to go to introduce myself and took her to the therapy room. Once we were in a private room, I told her that those conditions could possibly prevent her from having the therapy performed. I started to ask her more about her conditions. I discovered that she had appropriate medication for all of her diseases. She mentioned that she had been living with them for several years, even stating that she had asked her doctor about massage therapy. I then decided that since her conditions were under control, I would perform the…

In our convocation as we were taking the service user upstairs on the stair lift. I started whistling a song to one of the sound of music songs and she started to whistle along. She then smiled at the end of the song . As she smiled I noticed most of her teeth were cracked and chipped due to her chewing her medication. I asked her “do your teeth not hurt?” “They look like they hurt “ i said and i patted her on the knee. When we reached the top of the stairs i asked her to stand. She always get distracted with the mirror at the top of the stairs when we normally ask her to stand. But this time she was smiling and looking at her teeth pulling her lips back and looking at her teeth. She must of understood what I was taking about and wanted to have a look at for herself.…
