It is my pleasure to provide a recommendation letter to XX. X was my student in her second year, first semester’s seminar of Data Basis, at the Bucharest Academy of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics. Our seminars where held in small groups, therefore I am confident in my opinion of her. Based on X's grades, attendance and class participation, I'd rate X's academic performance in my class as superior.
To begin with, she is an excellent student, with a lively curiosity, this frequently transformed into questions that frequently led our seminar down avenues and into areas that, otherwise, may have remained unexplored. There was never a time that you would see X doing anything else in class but being attentive, collaborative and on-task.
Moreover, all the students had to work on a semester’s project and every two or three weeks, each student had to present the stage of his or hers project. I must say that X was invariably on top of her work. If there were times, when maybe being daunted by the amount of work other lecturers have given her, she could not present on a certain date, X would let me know about the stage of the project in advance. In this way I was aware of her work progress as well as understand her commitment to her degree. At the end, she presented a complex and well structured project, which was undoubtedly the result of hard work.
Nevertheless, she is punctual, prompt and complete in her work, with a cooperative and congenial attitude towards her colleagues. Her conduct is upright and decent. She is a communicative person, who is capable of great involvement in her work but also in the group she is part of.
I strongly recommend X X for admission to your Master’s Degree program as she will bring solid knowledge and value. I am positively confident that she will show excellent performance in her higher studies. Her profound interest in her academic work and perseverance will help her fulfill her
