Most people would not know that Alice, from the two creatively written fantasy novels, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland or Through the looking glass, was an actual girl. She was a close friend of Lewis Carroll, the man behind the two interesting literary works. Little did she know, that she would be talked about for the next century as a very large character in Carroll’s novels. It shows that Carroll had a twisted way of thinking and writing. He is taking the ideas of bad things and turning them into children’s books. It was a long time before some adults realized the message coming from the books and then it reflected on Carroll as a person. Besides being a twisted author, he was a great photographer. He liked to take pictures of celebrities, such as the queen and her son, the prince.Photography was a means for Carroll to enter intellectual society and make friends (3.) Carroll took a special interest in photographing young girls, which also made people question him and his sanity, along with his book themes and hidden meanings. Carroll received some praise for his two notable literary works, including the two novels being made into movies, tv shows, and documentaries based on his life. Disney made a cartoon-animated movie on the Alice series and called it, “Alice in Wonderland.” Millions of copies were sold of the two novels. They had even let Carroll use his own dog for the tv series eventually.
Now it is known that Carroll has done many good things and also has made some mistakes in his writing career and personal life. This has impacted him and his readers in many different ways. No matter how old his two novels become, they will always be classic that some families love, and some families find a disgrace to even read a few pages of in their daily lives.
