In the fall of 2005, I was informed by previous husband of twenty-six and half years, that he wanted a divorce. After several months of marriage counseling and separation from each other for months, my husband made the ultimate decision that he wanted to live a different life without me. Divorces are examples of real-life situations that happen to different people for the good and the bad reasons. In this case for me – a good reason, after walking out the divorce court room in January 2006, my life changed, and now it was up to me to change my life for the rest of my living years, possibly alone. The optimizing decision that I made was the “absolute best solution to a problem (Uhl-Bien et al., 2014, p. 197)” of being now divorced was to register for the first-time as a Corporate and Continuing Education (CCE) student, at the time in 2006, was at Palm Beach Community College. Registering for the first CCE course was my satisficing decision to get my foot inside the door and inside the college classroom without ever having to worry about anyone else, but
