Life of a Pop Star
When I wake up I don’t get to hear silence and peacefulness, instead I’m surrounded by the sounds of ambulances going off and my assistant in my ear telling me, “RiRi get up you have a photo shoot at ten”. My life is at a fast pace and I signed up for this once I entered this business and being this global pop isn’t just handed to anyone on a silver platter. Ever since I was 17 years old my life changed from being the small town girl from Barbados to now traveling the world performing for all my fans, I am truly blessed. Days in my life consist of, running around everywhere, photo shoots, and the public eye always ready to criticize you. Nevertheless, there is so much more to my life than anyone will ever know. I want to show people I’m a business woman and singer that takes my job seriously, which I want to prove i am a normal person just like everyone else. This is why I want to take people into my life to show everyone a day in the life of Rihanna. My days are always long and consumed by assistants nagging on me to go hear, or you have a meeting with so and so, for me it never stops. It is also very important to me to expand my brand by branching out with new and different things. Such as today i am in New York City to meet up with some people to discuss about my new ventures with my perfume “Rebelle la Fleur”. I’m really excited to come out with a second line it’s always been a dream of mine to make something with my own name on it. It’s finally time to put together some scents and there are so many choices!! This process is kind of overwhelming and thankfully I have a great team that helps me out on picking out the final choices. Finally the meeting is over and I’m hoping I can sneak back to the hotel to take a little nap, but unfortunatly for me I have to run it through my assistant Stephanie to see if that’s possible. “Yes!” I’m back in my nice warm comfy bed, so I’ll

When we begin our day starting with a cup of coffee, we tend to ask our selves questions that leave us pondering. Sometimes we are left with fragmentary answers and our minds simply cannot focus. Ultimately with reality all around, things can change us in many ways. There was a point in my life where i was struggling as a person to develop confidence. I could not seem to gain that level of self confidence that a normal person should have. Turning myself down was a normal thing to me, as though i have been put down in my life. I simply could not find that one inspiration that would set my fears on fire. Until came Nicki Minaj into the music industry. I was reading her article one night, not even half-way into the story i was amazed by her. Self-confidence was what she struggled with as a teenagaer. Suddenly before stepping into the world of music, Nicki had changed herself. She did not care what other people thought of her or what they said about her. She kept her self-esteem as high as she could and she always reached for goals that challenged her. Of even greater appeal her appearence is a mix of everything. Nicki claims herself as Nicki. She does not look at herself as being somebody else but herself. As reaching towards the end of the article i was astonished when she said that critics will keep talking, but that does not stop you from being who you are just because other people do not accept it. After reading the article i took a seccond to myself to realize what i was doing wrong. Which was nt accepting myself. I felt a sudden reaction within myself and i knew what i was doing before was tearing me apart as a human. Without delay i changed things around in my life including myself. Now i am leading a life where i am unstoppable in my actions. I can careless about what people say and think about me. Feeling a boost of confidence in…

The day I opened that catalog was the day that my mind went into a world win spiral. So many ideas flooded my brain that I went out and bought my first sketch book to begin on this fashion journey. I started out drawing a pair of straight leg white dress pants, followed by a beautiful silk pink button up blouse. It was simply stunning. To follow this outfit I would dress it up with a pair of pink pumps and a pair of earrings, it keeps it classy but yet remains stylish. It’s what you call business elegant. The outfit screamed “WEAR ME!” I went to school the next day and showed many people my work and they all said that they were in love. They all wanted me to draw to a design for them to. It shocked me how many people actually liked my work, but I was more than happy to do it.…
