Lifewire Domestic Violence Case Study
I am interested in learning more about Domestic violence among women. The service I have chosen is the LifeWire agency, because their mission is to make the world a safer place for victims of domestic violence. Another goal they have is to make sure all their client’s needs are met by helping them by putting together a variety of resources that they can go to for help.

The purpose of LifeWire is to educate society and individuals about domestic violence, and to provide services and shelter for women and their children suffering from domestic abuse. The populations that are served by the agency are women across king county. This includes women that speak different languages, benefiting from the program, because they offer interpreter services

    I chose to write a report about the YWCA Pierce County, located on 405 Broadway St, Tacoma Washington. Their comprehensive Domestic Violence services that highlights intervention and prevention includes 24 hour emergency assistance (intervention hotlines), free legal services (with protection orders, as well as other criminal and civil law), immigration and safety planning, parenting plans, emergency shelter, transitional housing, case management, therapeutic services, advocacy, support groups, food, clothing and diapers, transportation, teen dating violence prevention, full interpretive services and more.…
