Light Bulb Moments In Teaching

I love seeing children have "light bulb" moments. It's moments like those that let you know you have chosen the correct profession. I also chose teaching as my profession because when I was in elementary school I did not have good teachers to look up at. I struggled a lot in elementary school and my teachers just saw me as the problem child they did not have time to help. They made me feel horrible because I didn't know the answer to a question they asked, or I needed help with something they thought would be simple for me to understand. I remember going back to my desk and crying because I knew I was not wanted in their classroom. I told myself if I was a teacher I would never make my students feel the way they made me feel. I knew I wanted
