With that success, Vonn has started to expand her presence into areas beyond sports in a variety of different ways, including writing a book, posing as an athletic model, and even becoming a major presence on social media, especially Instagram. In pattern with many of her posts, Vonn includes includes a quote: “If you fall, pick yourself back up”, which perfectly sums up the theme of Vonn’s posts. However, Vonn also includes information that presents her as more than just a determined athlete. She writes that she is the founder of the Lindsey Vonn Foundation. The foundation focuses on trying to influence women to make a difference and empower the next generation of young girls to reach their full potential. Yet, without looking up the foundation, users would likely not know what the foundation does, as that information is not seen anywhere in Vonn’s biography. Of all the information in Vonn’s biography, the most cryptic is probably a hyperlink to an unknown page. Upon further inspection, the link takes a user to website where they can buy Vonn’s book, titled “Strong is the New Beautiful.” This book link gives viewers an entirely new idea about what Vonn stands for.
