Accordingly, in the tales Hamlet and Lion King most of the main characters consist of a royal family. Each prince also had a separation from the one’s that they loved most in order to revenge their father’s deaths. In the process of completing their tasks their uncles also poisoned their mothers, leaving them without any parents. Although their journeys sound quite similar so far, they also have many differences. Toward the end of Hamlet, Hamlet’s love, Ophelia, went mad and drowned; he accidentally killed her father, Polonius; and he also killed her brother, Laertes, when he attempted to murder Hamlet with a sword that had been dipped in a highly potent poison. After all of this had occurred Hamlet took the same sword that killed Laertes and would soon kill him and slit Claudius’s throat and made him drink the drink that poisoned his mother.( Hamlet 174,175) On the other hand in Lion King after Scar killed Simba’s father and poisoned his mother only one more death occurred. Simba and Scar had a spine-chilling battle where Simba killed Scar. After that Simba became king and Nala became queen, and the land returned to its prosperous state. While the ending state of Hamlet’s land ,Denmark, was not told to the
