Definition of Society : The term society comes from the Latin word "Societas", which in turn was derived from the noun "Socius" which represents interaction among different parties that are friendly with one another.
A society is a group of people who are involved in a never ending social interaction. A society can be defined by a pattern of relationships that individuals share among them, who belong to different cultures and institutions. It helps the members of the society to take help or benefits from the other members of the society, which would not have been possible if they lived alone. Geographical boundaries : A society helps to form a geographical boundary which makes every individual who is a part of this society, feel secure and through this they are able to perform their duties because they then, know the fact that what ever duty they are performing that is within their social circle and no outsider can have the power to rule over them.
A society and its own culture : Every society has its own way of life which is called culture. Culture can be defined as a social heritage of a man which includes his beliefs, religion, ideology, ideas, attitude, judgement and values. Every society has its own values and culture which makes it different from other societies.
Dynamic society : A society is a place which full of different individuals who have different thoughts and values. A society can never remain same forever because old people die and new people come into this world who take their place and they are the ones who can not necessarily change the whole system but can bring some changes to it as time
