On October 10th, 2013, 16 East Side Boys were arrested during the process of the Twin Cities Operation Screeching Halt. These boys were involved in a gang and considered to be the most dangerous and violent individuals in the metro area. I sat down and talked to a officer that I know that works in the area where they were arrested. I had asked him what the gang was involved in and how old where the boys that were arrested. He replied and said that the gang members were involved in drugs, weapons, dealing of illegal substances, and committing crimes of the gang and a aggrevated robbery. The drugs that the police had gathered from arresting these violent people were meth, crack, cocaine, MJ, and codeine. I had asked if our neighborhood is a bit safer now since we got these violent people off the streets and that more guns and drugs had been taken off the streets and put
