After I read “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening”-Robert Frost and “Live Like you Were Dying”-Tim McGraw I found that the theme was about promises you should keep and DEATH. As it says in the poem,”but I have promises to keep” and in the song “And I went three times the year I lost my dad.” But the poem and the song have some theme similarities. One set of similarities was they both include death somewhere in the poem or song. The song though has some symbolism and i don’t know about the song. The song talks about living life to the fullest. Another similarity is they both are talking about them either dying or someone dying. The sensory details in the poem help give symbolism by “cold” or death. So in the poem when he says “miles to go before
I sleep” he means die/rest peacfully. And in the song Tim McGraw states he spent time without his dad.
