In other ways, an organization provides hands-on learning experience which provides an opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills an intern has acquired during the classroom learning. The mutual benefits of two different parts provide an opportunity to benefit each other. One of the many organizations which seeks healthcare management position is the non-profit organization. As non-profit organization, LHC works on educating the community, the providers, and the patients about the specific diseases and how to prevent, control, and treat them. Hence, LHC will provide me a valuable hands-on learning experience how to found, implement and manage such a project. In addition, while doing my project at LHC, I will be able to learn how to deal with planning, budgeting, project design, managing the project and delivery services. Moreover, it’s my interest and wishes to work for non-profit organization that related to my education as a healthcare manager. More specifically, international, non-profit organizations like Management Science for Health (MSH), and Family Health International (FHI) filched my attention to be a professional like those who worked for them. I had worked for the past five years in the MSH and FHI organizations in East Africa, Ethiopia. These organizations still working on preventing and treating an HIV/and other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) as well as mobilizing the community creating awareness about this deadly disease. I hope, I will gain additional hands-on learning experience from LHC and continues serving undeserved
