Faith- is my top value because everything I do I want to please Him. I believe as I have grown, and matured this has become a more surreal value. A few years ago I would have never said this. Now that I have a family I believe it is more important in my life and my responsibility as a new father and as a husband.
Family- I believe that love is a top priority because without family nothing else really matters. Family has become a huge part of my life. I love my family and I enjoy every minute I have with them. If I had an extra hour each day I would spend it with my family.

hand, I have worked and devoted a lot of my time the past three years to striving to become a better person through higher education. I believe that all the effort I have put into college I need to finish and continue to perform at an exceptional level.
Security- This has become more important to me now that I have a family.
I want the best for my family and I want to be assured that they will be taken care of in case something would happen to me. I know that God will take care of us. I also want to work hard to secure my family as best as I can.
Humor- This is an excellent value. I love that there is comedy in the world. I believe that making people laugh is one of the best things you can do. I love watching comedy’s and standup routines. Every weekend I relax and watch a comedy to get my mind of the everyday stress.
2. Have these five always been the most important values to you throughout your life? Explain.
No, these have changed in the last few years. I believe that when I married my wife. I believe that I became a better person because of her. Before I only cared about myself. Now I have two other people that I care most in the world for. I believe this is an amazing part of life. I believe that as I grew up there were a lot of things that I just did not have time for. I had devoted myself to other things such as drinking and partying with people. Now that I am 29, there are a lot of things that mean a lot more to me that are
positive.
3. What do values have to do with career planning and Career Foundations?
I believe that Career foundations and values play a huge part, because the class is about finding out what you want to do in your life. The class helps to figure out what is important to you and how you plan to achieve that. A career foundation helps you to prepare for entering the working world, and what employers want from their employees. As I was doing my community engagement I meet great people that were all retired. Now that they had time they wanted to give back to people that were less fortunate then themselves. I believe that they taught me a lot about what this time on Earth is really about.
