LIVING IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY
It’s difficult for beginning new life in a foreign country because my life likes number 0. I will be learned something and don’t forget experiences. I have lived in USA for one year. A country develops economy and education. I have learned everything by the teachers at college or university but they don’t teach me how to live without my family, I make something by myself. The purpose of this discusses the three main effects that living in another country can produce in your personal life.
Living in USA, I have to start a regular life without my family. Missing everything at home town. I miss my parents, my friends and my colleagues. My life in home town is exciting than USA. I had lived there for twenty years. In there, I have good friends. If I have difficulties, my friends or family will help me. In contrast, I try to make everything by myself when I live in Texas. I remember the first time I drove a car, and it had trouble with battery. The weather was so cold, I stayed there about one hour. Fortunately, Mexicans help me. When I live alone in a foreign country, I realize how valuables really the family is.
The second effect would be learning how to accept another type of culture and society in your daily life. Since I have living in a place with different customers and traditions from mine, I have to be able develop myself in unknown conditions. For example, the women don’t smoke cigarette in my country, yet USA women smoke it very much. I think they know tobacco is not good for health, but it’s difficult from stopping. In particular, the couple who have not got married yet will be not live together. That is not able to accept in my country. If the couple wants to get married, they have to allow for their parents. This is traditional country. However, USA contrasts my country. Young people like to live together than get married. I
