Having a scientific knowledge Filipinos can contribute something to its country. “To fully develop agriculture and invigorate its rural economy, China, with a population of 1.3 billion, has popularized advance science and technology which today, has not only substantially raised its food production buts has also improved the living standards of its farmers” Lim said in an interview. According to him, to achieve its socialist modernization and enhance its rural development, China provides its farmers with scientific and technology services by offering fine strain of seeds, information, consultation and technical know-how.
