Logos And Logos In Mr. Lehrman's Journal Article

Mr. Lehrman uses almost exclusively logos in his journal article; however, there is a little bit of egos as well. The author does not use pathos for a few reasons, firstly he is trying to write a persuasive and educational article and the appeals of logos and egos are better fitted for that. Secondly, the subject that he is writing about is relatively numerical and scientific which also does not lend itself to pathos overly well. The author uses a lot of examples from utility companies that have switched over to mandatory demand charges which would go under logos. Furthermore, he uses his own authority on the situation which is egos.
