Legal/Political factor: This factor exerts direct and indirect influences on Singapore Flyer. There are pros and cons.
One of its positive side is that Singapore government cabin has placed multi-racial politicians to work together. This prove that there is no discrimination, regardless of race, everyone can enjoy themselves at the Singapore Flyer. Another positive side of the political factor is that the Singapore government have implement strict rules and regulations on those that may wish to threat safety of the people. This makes everyone feel secure and will be willing to come back and will recommend others about the Singapore flyer. For example: the Public Transport Security Command.
Negative factor toward the Singapore Flyer includes terrorism. This is no surprise as Singapore is an anti-terrorism country and can potentially be targets of terrorists. Furthermore, Singapore Flyer is one of the more popular tourism attraction, a suitable direction for terrorists.
Economic factor: An undeniable factor is that Singapore Flyer can boast the economy to a large extent if it is earning profits. On top of that, Singapore Flyer have the potential to increase the number of investors. Unemployment rate will also decrease as new jobs are created.
On the other hand, there are many negative factors which includes inflation and dependency from tourism.
Inflation affects prices on everything whereby prices go up. Even though this show that standard of living has increased, not everyone will be willing to at higher prices especially tourist, as it is a disadvantage to them. Dependency is when a country relies too much on a certain area. In this case, it can be the result of relying too much in the tourism whereby they might have trusted that the Singapore Flyer will do well in the long run. If the Singapore government does not have any backup plan, it will lose a lot of money as Singapore Flyer still have its operation costs to be covered.
