On Friday, the first day of winter break, we all loaded into the car. The trip itself lasted its usual length, but it was exciting. The simple concept of a short road trip was even more entertaining with the accompaniment of Emily. After the ride Emily, her brother Julian, and I was dropped off at the Polynesian resort. The walk up the stairs was filled with the sight of people standing and sitting around within the resort. Some sipped on beverages while others strolled along the shelves of the resort shops. The monorail was a short wait. Our party was soon aboard and heading towards the parks. I'd always look at her and she would smile back. The lights of the parks and buildings during the evening made her smile glow exponentially. Epcot was already inching its way into the darkness. Spaceship Earth was our first stop. After the initial trip through Disney’s version of history, we rode the ever-classic Pirates of the Caribbean. The pavilions of countries are the Quintessential aspect of Epcot. Each unique realm captures the essence of Epcot; international differences all unified into a single whole within one park. Exploring the countries took the majority of the night.
